Restoration + Resilience: Hebrew/Jewish Intergenerational Trauma Healing

  • Pacifica Family Maternity Center 3101 Telegraph Avenue Berkeley, CA, 94705 United States (map)

Hebrew/Jewish Intergenerational Trauma Healing

What is this?

Participants will have the opportunity to explore their ancestoral lineage patterns and the ways these patterns may be affecting their present life experience. Within a framework of restoration and resilience and guided by each participant’s personal intentions, participants will be supported in their discernment of those experiences of past generations they want to differentiate from and those they choose to carry forward from their lineages.

Based on the Womb Surround model developed by Ray Castellino, this work is guided by the principles he and his students developed, as well as epigenetics, the autonomic nervous system, polyvagal theory, polarity therapy, biodynamic craniosacral therapy, birth psychology, applied attachment theory, and the ancestral medicine developed by Daniel Foor.

This small workshop - for 4 people - offers each participant the opportunity to have a long session (approximately 2.5 hours) with the support of the facilitator, assistant facilitator and the 3 other participants.

Who is this for?

This workshop is specifically designed for people who come from Hebrew/Jewish people. You don't need to have been "raised Jewish," and it doesn't matter which parent or grandparent comes from this lineage.

Facilitated by Elsa Asher with Joel Decker as an assistant facilitator. If you have any questions please email
