Physiology is Relational

Community-based learning about our bodies, form + function, and how stress, trauma and oppression affect us physically is an important component of a restored way of healthcare. All classes are held in-person in Berkeley, CA and folks can participate from anywhere via Zoom. Every class includes didactic information and practical exercises and/or applicable resources. All classes will be recorded and shared with participants, along with a pdf of the slides and any additional resources.

September 23 -- Understanding your Autonomic Nervous System 1: Parasympathetic Nervous System -- ONLINE

September 30 -- PTSD of the immune system: mast cells, histamine and inflammation

October 14 -- Autoimmune issues and thyroid dysfunction are tools of the patriarchy: your hyoid bone, thyroid and your free voice

October 21 -- Connective tissue

October 28 -- As Below So Above: the pelvis / cranium connection
