Prenatal, Birth & Attachment Clinic Vision & Mission:

Prevent & resolve early childhood trauma

Our integrative therapeutic group practice offers care to families during the prenatal and postpartum time and adults who have experienced challenges in their early life.

Our Approach to Care

We focus on prenatal, birth and attachment because we focus on healing root causes. The primal experiences of our lives, particularly the preverbal experiences of conception, gestation, birth, infancy and early childhood imprint onto our beings and lay down a foundation and scaffolding that shape our lives.

Our services support preventing and healing early developmental trauma, deepening healthy relationships, and promoting physical health. We utilize an integrative approach that weaves together many therapeutic and bodywork modalities, including Prenatal and Birth Psychology, applied attachment theory, polyvagal theory, autonomic nervous system physiology, Acupressure, Polarity therapy, Somatic Experiencing® and Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy. In this approach, we pace the cognitive sharing of story to include the non-verbal expression of the body.

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy

I just wanted to let you know that my baby and I have been communicating beautifully in the last couple of weeks, and he has gotten so so so much more mellow! We are so happy and are working through lingering fear/anxiety in a really positive way. I attribute so much of this to you and your help. thank you.
— S.S., mother, Alameda, California
I get so much more than an excellent, highly skilled and extremely attuned Craniosacral session that expands my perspective and contributes to my physical, psychological and spiritual well-being. Elsa is also highly aware of my condition of fibromyalgia, more so than other health care professionals, and is helping me with different avenues to healing. In a short time my condition has greatly improved.
