Elsa attends births at your home or in a birth center in the East Bay and North Bay. If you would like recommendations for homebirth midwives and birth centers, please email elsa@prenatalbirthandattachmentclinic.com. Elsa does attend births in the hospital on a case-by-case basis, primarily for people who are high risk and/or it is likely their newborn will need to spend time in the NICU.

We use gender neutral language because we do not assume the gender identity of birthing people. Elsa specializes in working with queer families, trans and non-binary pregnant/gestating people, and families having a baby with a surrogate.

Birth doula services are available to anyone currently working with Elsa. If you are interested in having Elsa as your birth doula and are not a current client, please book a complimentary consult to discuss working together.

After your consult, if you'd like to work together, please book an in-person session to get started. If you need a sliding scale rate, please email elsa@prenatalbirthandattachmentclinic.com to discuss this, as we do not want financial barriers to block access to care.

Birth doula care generally begins in the third trimester, though we can be working together in individual sessions in your first and second trimester, at whatever pace feels right to you.
